What is Equity Release ?
Also known as Retirement Interest Only Mortgage or Lifetime Mortgage this allows you to access cash in your property by taking out a loan secured on your home , either as a lump sum or instalments. This long term loan will be re paid using your home when you pass away or if you require long term care, anything left will go to your beneficiaries. Until then you will remain the homeowner with no need to move.
